107.3 The Wave

I remember when this station played new wave music. I was such a big fan. Then they got the nights of Brazil music omg my sister and were addicted. And very shocked and disappointed when the show was cancelled. And the sole style of playing music forever changed. I was the one who called in and suggested that they say the name of the artist and song title.. Don't get me wrong I love jazz, big fan....but let's play more new music by artist. I'm still hearing music before my kids were teenagers. Please just get up to date.....

Sorry, have to disagree with Pamela. There are those of us who enjoy the MUSIC before her kids were teenagers. Do like the name of the artist and song title, thank you.

Christmas music in mid November? That's ridiculous! Many people don't want to hear it until December and many don't like it at all. Stop this madness.

Not a review. Want to know about a great jazz number I heard of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. Tidings of comfort and joy! Only heard it once. Normally I would agree with Don.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? No more smooth jazz? I'm guessing I am not the only person who feels this way. Please bring back this EXCELLENT smooth jazz station. Please. The current format truly sucks.

I was giving NO rating on this, since I DO NOT LIKE it at all but they will not let me post unless I give them 1 star no stars no review. The music sounds all alike, can not even tell one song from the other. I miss the DJ's also, bring back Grace, Dan and Potsy!!!!!!! My days are no longer the same! But alas they only want to cater to the under 40 crowd and even they do not like it! This network is AGE DISCRIMINATING against the listeners who actually listened to this station.

Please bring back the jazz... Tired of having all the radio stations sound alike. The Wave was a station all it's own :-(

This new radio format SUCKS!!! I want my old WAVE back. You all have ruined my life on the road. Give me my sweet Grace back. I am now on other sources and will only check back to see if you have fixed this but not to listen. You all have made me very angry and I have stopped listening to your other stations.

Cleveland finally has a music scene worthy of a front runner city. I'm downloading new music left and right, which puts 107.3 on a par with Radio Paradise. Finally a Cleveland radio station I am willing to play at home. Great job! Forget the haters. The true audiophiles are doing the happy dance!

Really miss the smooth jazz format. Current music selection is good, but I can get that on other stations etc. Very disappointed we lost such a great jazz station.

Several years ago, WNWV dropped the jazz format for something that people did not like -- so they went back to the soft jazz. Now, it is happening again. Please bring back the jazz. If you don't I will not listen anymore. Thank you.

This new format is TERRIBLE! This is the same as 6 other stations. I loved the WAVE and its smooth jazz format. If I want to hear adult contemporary I have many other choices. This is music for teenagers. I want me smooth jazz back. R. Milani

I would guess that the number of reviews in this thread will continue to taper off. So many WNWV listeners are not tuning into this station anymore because the new format stinks.

It is truly sad considering what a great station WNWV used to be. They never should have taken away our only jazz station!!! The new format is total garbage!!! Boycott rubber city radio group!!!

Too bad! My home and car radios have "stuck" on 107.3 for several decades, except for the other time you messed up and dropped the smooth jazz format. You lost me then and have done it again! Your station now sounds no different than all the other indistinguishable noise on the radio.

In spite of the best format and on-air talent, the listening enjoyment was crippled by the unswerving dedication to depressing advertisements. Every single message demanded the miserable listener repent for destroying their credit immediately followed by a scream and shout ad for a cheap car financed with no down payment, etc. No exceptions. Educated and high net worth individuals tend to find such messages as intolerable, presumably driving down ratings.
