About WSUL - WSUL 98.3 FM
WSUL is a commercial radio station located in Monticello, New York, that broadcasts an adult contemporary format. It is owned by Vince Benedetto's Bold Gold Media Group, L.P. The station was originally owned and operated by Dan and Lynne Dayton (Dan Communications Inc.), and played easy listening music from the 1960s and 1970s. In 1988, under new owner and General Manager Bill Reynolds, the station developed an adult contemporary format called "Lite Rock" and became dominant in the market. In the late 1990s, the station added a translator at 95.7 FM in Middletown, New York. In 2005, WSUL was sold to Watermark Broadcasting, Inc. and was later sold to Bold Gold Media Group in 2016. On October 18, 2021, WSUL changed its format from Top 40/CHR to adult contemporary and added Chase Daniels as Program Director and PMD host.
