AW Radio Belfast is a unique online radio station with deep roots dating back to 1976. Born from a childhood passion project in Belfast, Northern Ireland, this radio station began as a simple broadcast by four teenage students – Carlo Mantovani, Matteo Morelli, Gianluca Salucci, and Fausto Ballarani – who started their radio adventure in 1976. After a 40-year hiatus, the project was revived in 2020 by Carlo and Matteo, leveraging modern web technologies to bring their eclectic broadcasts back to life.
