IRIS FM is a vibrant Portuguese radio station broadcasting from Santarém, Portugal. Founded in 1985, IRIS FM – Serviço de Informação Regional Independente began serving the local community from Samora Correia. Originally covering a 50km radius, the station’s influence extends across the Lisbon metropolitan area, including the districts of Santarém (Benavente and Salvaterra de Magos), and across the Tejo River to Vila Franca de Xira, Arruda dos Vinhos, and Alenquer.
