Intokozo FM

Intokozo FM is a leading community radio station broadcasting from Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Established in 2017, Intokozo101.2 fm has become the youth’s choice, and is the first youth and young adults’ radio station centrally located in UMlazi, the second biggest township in South Africa. As the only radio station specifically catering to both English and IsiZulu speakers within UMlazi, Intokozo FM delivers a direct voice to the local community. Founded on July 10th, 2013 by a youth-led NPO, the station addresses critical local issues including drug abuse, unemployment, HIV/AIDS, teenage pregnancy, crime, entrepreneurship, and population growth.
