Montezuma County Fire and EMS – Your Source for Critical Communication in Southwest Colorado. Serving the communities of Montezuma County, Colorado, our radio station provides essential communication for firefighters, EMS personnel, and public safety agencies. We utilize state-of-the-art broadcasting equipment, including Motorola 1225 radios from Cortez FPD Station 1, and maintain active participation in key emergency communication networks like Dolores Repeater VFIRE 21, VFIRE 22, and the Menefee EMS Repeater (Mancus Fire). We support Mesa Verde National Park and the US Forestry Service, ensuring rapid response and coordinated efforts throughout the region.
