100.9 EXtreme Independent Radio

100.9 WXIR–LP's mission is to provide City residents community-focused radio programming, with youth outreach as the focus. WXIR-LP, a low-power FM radio station operating on frequency 100.9 in Rochester NY is the home of WXIR. Its mission is to provide radio programming for underrepresented communities by DJs and volunteer radio hosts. WXIR-LP is operated by RCTV Media Center.
