Pride Radio 89.2FM is Newcastle’s brand new community radio station, broadcasting 24/7 across Newcastle, Gateshead, South East Northumberland, Sunderland, South Tyneside and North Tyneside. Focused on promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity, Pride Radio aims to unite the LGBT+ community and wider audiences within the North East of England. Featuring established local personalities like Peter Darrant, Mel Crawford, Alex Roland, and Jonathan Morrell (formerly of Metro Radio and Century Radio), the station is driven by a dedicated team of volunteers. As a vital community resource, Pride Radio is actively seeking volunteers to join the presenting team, as well as support for marketing and social media initiatives.
