Mega FM

Mega FM is Uganda’s leading community radio station, broadcasting from Gulu City in Northern Uganda. Established in October 2002, Mega FM (meaning "mine" in Luo) operates on 102.1 and 103.1 FM frequencies. Dedicated to serving the Luo communities, particularly those impacted by the region's ongoing challenges, Mega FM provides informative, educative, and entertaining content. With 80% of its programming in the widely spoken Luo language, alongside English, Kiswahili, and Madi, Mega FM delivers up-to-date information, engaging features, and a diverse music selection – from the 1950s to today – establishing itself as the most listened-to and beloved radio station in Northern Uganda.
