Radio Vieques

Radio Vieques, located in Vieques, Puerto Rico, is the island’s only public radio station broadcasting on 90.1 FM since June 30, 2013. This public station, WVQR, delivers culturally-focused and educational programming centered around the ongoing struggles in Puerto Rico’s eastern region concerning environmental decontamination, the return of lands formerly held by the US Navy for over half a century, and community health and sustainable development.
