Te Arawa Radio

Te Arawa Radio is a leading Māori radio station based in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. Established in the mid-1980s by the Te Arawa Trust Board, the station, now known as Te Reo Irirangi o Te Arawa (TRIOTA), became a consolidated Charitable Trust entity in November 1990. In 1992, Te Rūnanga Nui o Te Arawa was appointed as the License Holder. TRIOTA is a dynamic and forward-thinking iwi radio station committed to meeting the evolving needs of the Te Arawa people and delivering a responsive service.
