MFM Radio, serving Waikato, New Zealand, and specifically the Maniapoto region, is the leading voice of Te Reo Irirangi o Maniapoto – one of 21 Iwi Radio Stations dedicated to promoting Māori language and culture across Aotearoa. For 25 years, MFM Radio has operated from Te Kūiti, broadcasting a dynamic mix of bilingual live and pre-recorded shows designed to connect with the Maniapoto whānau. As a locally owned and operated radio station, MFM Radio provides vital coverage of iwi events, activities, and issues, reaching listeners not only within the Waikato region but also globally through our online presence at www.mfm.co.nz. We operate on four distinct frequencies – Rereahu 91.8FM, Piopio 92.7FM, Waitomo 99.6FM, and Waipā 106.2FM – offering a crucial communication channel for those passionate about Māori language and culture.
