Borno FM is Borno State’s leading multi-media radio station, broadcasting from Maiduguri, Nigeria. Established in 1982 by Governor Mohammed Goni, Borno FM, also known as BRTV Maiduguri, is a cornerstone of the region’s media landscape. As the first FM station in Borno State, it’s a veteran broadcaster with almost 40 years of reliable service, currently operated by the Borno Radio Television Corporation. Dr. Mohammed Bulama spearheaded the station's successful transition to a web-based platform in 2016, ensuring continued accessibility for listeners across Borno State and beyond.
