Radio 5fm

Radio 5FM is North Macedonia’s leading local radio station, broadcasting from Veles since February 18, 2001. Licensed for local programming, 5FM is a talk and music radio station with a predominantly upbeat, adult contemporary hit radio (ACHR) format. Located in Sveti Ilija, at 555 meters above sea level, 5FM transmits on 107.1 MHz with a 100W transmitter, utilizing a digital signal path to our broadcast location. Our signal reaches listeners in Veles, Sveti Nikole, Lozovo, Gradsko, Caska, Богоmila, and parts of Skopje. Beyond terrestrial broadcasting, Radio 5FM also streams online in AAC digital format. 5FM has become the dominant radio station in Veles, achieving a daily listenership rating of 25% within the Veles Municipality, with specific segments exceeding 40%. Furthermore, 5FM serves as a training school for aspiring radio journalists and broadcasters.
