LarockaForte
La Rockaforte is a unique radio station rooted in Italy’s rich musical history. Born from the innovative spirit of Radio Luna Network in the late 1970s, La Rockaforte – meaning “Rock Fortress” – emerged as a distinctive voice in Italian radio. Established by Bruno Ployer, the station’s initial goal was to carve out a space for classic rock, prioritizing musical distinction and avoiding the crowded landscape of the era. Throughout the 1980s, La Rockaforte’s legacy continued with Alberto Naviglio and his “Fortezza della Musica” broadcasts, solidifying the station’s commitment to quality music. In 2009, the project was revived as www.radiomusic.net, evolving into La Rockaforte. Since January 2012, the station’s headquarters are based in London, UK, continuing its mission to “Save music, Save The Rock!” La Rockaforte remains dedicated to delivering a focused musical experience, reflecting its heritage and ambition.
