Sunshine FM – Your Local Radio Station in Nyiregyháza, Hungary Sunshine FM is a leading commercial radio station serving Nyiregyháza, located in the heart of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County, Hungary. Launched on August 28, 2001, at 99.4 MHz, Sunshine FM quickly became the most listened-to radio station in Nyiregyháza, achieving a 33% reach. After being operated under the ORTT 1529/2003. (IX.4.) decision, the station was taken over by NHH on April 7, 2005. Sunshine FM successfully relaunched on October 5, 2006, with a two-week trial period and a new ownership, focusing primarily on listeners aged 19-49.
