Radio Mundial FM is Guatemala’s trusted voice for over 50 years, delivering information and entertainment across the entire nation. Recognized as the only station deeply rooted in the heart and soul of Guatemala, we cover 98.5 FM and 700 AM, reaching over 95% of the country. Founded on unwavering principles to objectively inform and entertain the Guatemalan people, Radio Mundial has been a launching pad for countless artists, including singers, comedians, actors, and broadcasters. Established by Mario Plinio Quintana, formerly Presidential Commissioner for Education, with authorization from President Miguel Idígoras Fuentes in 1959, the station began as Radio ABC on 700 AM and 98.5 FM.
