Ngarralinyi strives to provide workplace opportunities to youth, the unemployed and the unskilled. Mid North Coast Indigenous Broadcasting association Corporation (MIBAAC) was incorporated on 2nd August 1999 and Ngarralinyi was established in 2000, with it's first licence to broadcast granted November 1999. Prior to this a Koori program was broadcast through 2BOB FM, a community based radio station also located in Taree.
